Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Custodians to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and order in various facilities, ensuring a safe and pleasant environment for all occupants. This role requires a proactive approach to cleaning and maintenance tasks, with a focus on delivering high-quality service in commercial, industrial, and residential settings.

Duties

• Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming to maintain cleanliness in assigned areas.
• Conduct floor care activities such as buffing and waxing to ensure surfaces are well-maintained.
• Assist with facilities maintenance tasks as needed, including minor repairs and upkeep of equipment.
• Ensure proper disposal of waste and recycling materials in compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment; report any shortages or maintenance needs promptly.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure all areas are cleaned efficiently and effectively.
• Respond to custodial requests from staff or management in a timely manner.
• Uphold high standards of cleanliness in both public and private spaces, including restrooms, hallways, offices, and common areas.
  
  

Experience

• Previous experience in commercial cleaning or custodial services is preferred but not required.
• Familiarity with industrial cleaning techniques and equipment is a plus.
• Experience in facilities maintenance or residential painting can be beneficial.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain cleanliness standards consistently.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team; strong communication skills are essential.
• Knowledge of safe handling procedures for cleaning chemicals and materials is preferred.
