Job summary

Tresco, Inc. is seeking a reliable Custodian in Silver City, NM. This part-time position offers scheduled shifts on Tuesdays and Thursdays 1:00 PM–5:00 PM and Mondays to Fridays 5:00 PM–7:00 PM, with an Open Until Filled posting.

The role focuses on maintaining clean, safe, and welcoming facilities and contributing to a high standard of cleanliness. Qualifications include a High School Diploma or GED, some custodial experience preferred, a valid driver’s license, and background/drug screening

Qualifications

• Previous custodial/janitorial experience preferred.
• Substitution of education/experience may be considered per Tresco policy.

Responsibilities

• Clean and stock restrooms, kitchens, and break rooms.
• Sweep, vacuum, and mop floors.
• Interior and exterior window cleaning; dusting.
• Disinfect surfaces and descale fixtures; general custodial tasks.
• Remove office trash and maintain cleanliness.
• Carry out floor care: buffing and wet mopping.
• Additional duties as assigned by supervisor.

Key Responsibilities

You will be responsible for a variety of janitorial and custodial duties, including:

• Cleaning and stocking restrooms, kitchens, and break rooms
• Sweeping, vacuuming, and mopping floors
• Interior and exterior window cleaning
• High and spot dusting
• Removing office trash and maintaining cleanliness
• Floor care: buffing, spray cleaning, and wet mopping
• Disinfecting surfaces and descaling fixtures

Additional duties as assigned by your supervisor

What You Need to Succeed

Education & Experience:

High School Diploma or GED required

Previous experience in custodial/janitorial services preferred

Substitution of education/experience may be considered per Tresco policy

Licenses/Certifications:

Valid driver's license or Identification Card required

Other Requirements:

Background check, and post-offer drug screening required
