Job summary

The Darmody Family McDonald’s in Sheldon, IA is seeking a Maintenance Person to help keep interior and exterior areas clean and equipment in good working order. This position offers either part-time or full-time hours and requires flexibility across shifts.

You will work with a supportive team, receive benefits like a 401k plan, tuition assistance, and insurance options, and gain experience in a fast-paced restaurant environment. Some lifting and physical tasks may be required.

Qualifications

• Must be available weekdays and weekends and be able to work various shifts per week.
• Be authorized to work in the United States.
• Must have reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Filter oil fryers daily.
• Maintain outside grounds.
• Clean equipment, inside and outside windows, stock rooms and restrooms.
• Unload delivery truck 2 times a week.
• Take out and empty trash.
• Change light bulbs.
• Clean HVAC/Exhaust units and roof of debris.
• And any other tasks asked or assigned by manager.

The Maintenance Person assists management in achieving and maintaining outstanding interior and exterior restaurant cleanliness and maintaining restaurant equipment. As a member of the Maintenance Team, your restaurant will support you with the tools and training needed to succeed.
