Job summary

Freeland Community School District is seeking a full-time custodian at Freeland High School to maintain a clean and safe environment for students and staff. The role includes daily custodial tasks and light maintenance, with a schedule of Monday–Friday, 3:00pm–11:00pm during the school year and daytime hours in the summer.

The ideal candidate is experienced, able to multitask, and works independently, with a strong attendance record and professional demeanor when interacting with staff,

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Two years of custodial experience preferred.
• Able to work independently and follow directions.

Employment: ESS Midwest is seeking experienced, dependable, high-energy candidates for a full‑time custodial position assigned to the Freeland Community School District. This position is based at Freeland High School. Daily responsibilities include maintaining a clean and safe environment for the students and staff, completing daily custodial tasks and light maintenance work. The ideal candidate will be experienced, be able to multitask and work independently.

Qualification Requirements:

• High School Graduate or equivalent
• Two years of experience in a custodial position
• Must be able to work independently
• Punctual with good attendance record
• Responds to staff requests/concerns in a timely manner
• Professional and courteous when interacting with co-workers, students and the public
• Performs work necessary to maintain the building and grounds in an acceptable condition
• Physical & Drug Screening

Rate of Pay: $18.85 per hour

Schedule:

Monday – Friday, 3:00pm – 11:00pm during the school year / day-shift during the summer
