Job summary

Pritchard Industries is hiring a Custodian to perform cleaning and basic maintenance tasks at our Point Pleasant Beach facility. Responsibilities include vacuuming, mopping, sweeping, trash removal, restroom and break room cleaning, and setting up for events.

Ideal candidate is reliable, with the ability to lift 50 pounds, follow supervisor directions, and communicate in English and Spanish. Previous janitorial experience is a plus; training available.

Qualifications

• Must be able to follow instructions from supervisor and complete tasks effectively.
• Prior cleaning experience is a plus.
• Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds.
• Be willing to obtain a Black Seal within a year of employment.

Responsibilities

• Vacuum, mop and sweep floors and remove trash.
• Clean restrooms and break rooms; maintain sanitary conditions.
• Set up for events and operate cleaning equipment as needed.

We are seeking to hire aCustodian. You will be responsible for performing building maintenance tasks, including vacuuming, mopping, sweeping floors, removing trash, cleaning restrooms and break rooms, and other miscellaneous duties to ensure that the building and facilities are maintained in a healthy, safe, and sanitary manner. The ideal candidate will have a professional attitude & appearance and be self-motivated, hardworking, dependable, and responsible.

Job Requirements

Must be able to follow instructions from supervisor and complete all tasks effectively.

Prior cleaning experience is a plus.

Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds.

Janitor experience is a plus but will train

Reliable Transportation

Be able to use the auto scrubber machine

Be able set up for events

Bilingual (English and Spanish) preferred

Full-time

Hours, 40 hrs/week, 3:00 pm - 11:30 pm Monday-Friday with an alternating Saturday shift 7:00am - 3:30pm
