Responsibilities

• Clean and service restrooms, classrooms, study areas, lounges, lobbies, stairwells, and hallways.
• Maintain floors, including sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming.
• Re-stock restroom supplies and ensure dispensers are clean and functional.
• Collect and remove trash from indoor and outdoor containers.
• Clean windows, glass, walls, vents, and other surfaces.
• Follow established cleaning schedules and ensure areas meet university standards.
• Unlock and open facilities as assigned.
• Perform floor care (stripping, waxing, carpet cleaning) and seasonal cleaning projects.
• Maintain custodial closets and launder cleaning materials as needed.

Manchester University is seeking a dependable and hardworking Custodian to join our Facilities team. This role is vital in maintaining the cleanliness, safety, and overall welcoming environment of our campus.
