Job summary

Hillcroft Services Inc. seeks a dedicated custodian for our Indiana facility. The role focuses on floor care, including sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, waxing and polishing with proper equipment, and daily cleaning of entryways and windows.

You will handle ladders, dust walls, fixtures, baseboards, and furniture while maintaining compliance with cleaning schedules. The shift is full-time, Monday through Friday, 4pm to 12am, with opportunities to assist in seasonal deep-cleaning as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience in custodial work preferred.
• Familiar with cleaning chemicals and safety.
• Ability to lift/move furniture and equipment as needed.
• Reliable and able to follow cleaning schedules.

Responsibilities

• Sweep, vacuum, mop, wax, and polish floors using appropriate equipment.
• Dust and wash walls, ceilings, light fixtures, baseboards, table legs, and chair legs.
• Wash entry doors and surrounding windows daily; wash windows semi-annually or as needed.
• Move cabinets, boxes, furniture, crates to access areas.
• Use chemicals to remove stains from rugs, drapes, walls and floors.

Job description

Hillcroft is looking for a custodian for one of our facilities!

Some key responsibilities of this position include, but may not be limited to:

• Sweeps, vacuums, mops, scrubs, waxes and polishes floors using all appropriate equipment.
• Have ability to use ladders, dust and wash walls, clean ceilings and dusts and polishes light fixtures, dust and clean baseboards, table legs, chair legs
• Entry doors and surrounding window areas are washed daily. Semi-Annually wash windows, or as needed.
• Must be able to move cabinets, boxes, furniture, crates and equipment to clean areas.
• Must have ability and knowledge to remove stains from such surfaces as rugs, drapes, walls, and floors using chemicals and cleaning solutions.
• Maintain the Hillcroft Services, Inc., facilities’ cleanliness by following a cleaning schedule.
• Must be able to operate a washer and dryer.
• Maintain custodial equipment in good working order and notify supervisor when inventory supplies are low.
• Must be willing and have the ability to do enhanced cleaning of facilities during times of flu/cold season.

This position is full-time Monday through Friday from 4pm to 12am
