Qualifications

• Applicants must be at least 18 years old.
• Previous cleaning/ janitorial experience required.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Background check and drug screening required.
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure front office areas, offices, and restrooms are cleaned, sanitized, and properly stocked.
• Clean and maintain the breakroom daily, including mopping floors and wiping down tables, counters, appliances, and other surfaces.
• Clean out and sanitize refrigerators every Sunday, Tuesday, and Thursday.
• Clean, sanitize, mop, and restock all restrooms in each building on a daily basis.
• Wipe down and disinfect walls, doors, and doorknobs throughout all buildings daily.
• Clean and sanitize employee time clocks daily.
• Sweep all buildings daily using designated cleaning equipment.
• Clean interior windows, glass surfaces, and blinds on a weekly basis.
• Empty trash receptacles and replace liners as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of common areas, hallways, and workspaces.
• Report maintenance, safety, or supply issues to management promptly.
• Follow all company safety policies, sanitation procedures, and quality standards.
• Ensure adequate inventory of cleaning supplies and notify management when restocking is needed.
• Perform additional housekeeping and janitorial duties as assigned.

Pay Rate:

The pay rate for this job is $13 - $15 / hour*

What you'll be doing as a Custodian:

Shift timings - 1st Shift (Day), 2nd Shift (Evening) and Weekends

Job requirements:

• Applicants must be at least 18 years of age to be considered for employment with PeopleReady
• Previous experience required
• Work frequently with cleaning chemicals
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
• Ability to push, pull, and move up to 50 lbs
• Background check and drug screening required
