Job summary

Cresco Labs is seeking a Custodian to maintain cleanliness across the facility. The role requires cleaning experience in regulated settings, with a preference for food production environments. You must be able to sit, stand, kneel, and perform repetitive hand motions for long periods, while adhering to health and safety procedures.

Typical schedule is Monday–Friday, 7:00am–3:30pm. The job includes cleaning duties, schedule management, and collaboration with departments to avoid production

Responsibilities

• Ensure rooms are cared for and inspected per standards and GMPs.
• Coordinate with departments to avoid production disruption.
• Create and update the sanitation schedule; record keeping.
• Suggest improvements and review progress with leads.

JOB SUMMARY

The Custodian role is responsible for overall housekeeping and cleanliness of the facility. The ideal candidate must have cleaning experience and have worked in an operation with strict health and safety policies and procedures. Experience working in food production or a similar manufacturing environment is preferred. Candidates must be physically able to sit, stand, kneel, and/or do repetitive actions with their hands for long periods of time.

CORE JOB DUTIES

• Perform a variety of cleaning activities and other duties as assigned. Tasks include sanitizing, sweeping, mopping, dusting, polishing, changing floor pads, cleaning bathrooms, locker rooms, refrigerators, etc.
• Ensure all rooms are cared for and inspected according to company or regulatory standards.
• Coordinate with departments to ensure no disruption to production.
• Create an appropriate cleaning schedule based on the needs of the facility.
• Record and update the sanitation schedule.
• Suggest improvements and review progress with department leads regularly.
• Ensure cleaning/sanitation supplies are stocked and available for use when needed.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION AND SKILLS

• Prioritization and time management skills.
• Proven experience as a cleaner or housekeeper.
• Ability to work with little supervision and maintain a high level of performance.
• Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Processes (GMPs).
• High School diploma or GED.
• Exercise good judgment in analyzing problems.
• Able to read and write to understand standard operating procedures.
• Requires work around plant material, which could include exposure to plant pollen and/or dust.
• Requires ability to sit, stand, kneel, and/or do repetitive actions with your hands for long periods of time.
• Requires ability to lift up to 50 lbs to torso level.

PAY RANGE

$16.50 – $16.50 USD
