Job summary

Cambria in Le Sueur, MN is seeking a Custodian to maintain the cleanliness and appearance of the raw material quartz processing facility.

Responsibilities include sweeping, mopping, restrooms, floors, windows, and general upkeep in offices and production areas.

Qualifications

  • Experience: 1+ years in custodial or cleaning services.
  • Systems: CMMS.

Job Description

This position is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of the raw material quartz processing facility. This role involves performing various cleaning and maintenance tasks to ensure a safe, sanitary, and orderly environment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Perform routine cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting, in assigned areas such as offices, hallways, restrooms, and production areas.
  • Clean and sanitize restrooms, including toilets, sinks, and floors.
  • Empty trash receptacles and replace liners.
  • Clean windows, mirrors, and other glass surfaces.
  • Maintain floors by stripping, waxing, and buffing as needed.
  • Clean carpets using vacuum cleaners and carpet cleaning equipment.
  • Ensure that cleaning supplies are adequately stocked in assigned areas.
  • Operate and maintain cleaning equipment, such as floor buffers, vacuum cleaners, and other tools, in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Perform minor maintenance tasks, such as replacing light bulbs, changing filters, and making minor repairs to fixtures.
  • Report any needed repairs or maintenance issues to the Maintenance and Automation Manager.
  • Assist with setting up and cleaning up for special events or meetings.
  • Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies related to cleaning and chemical handling.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, including storage rooms and closets.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Maintenance and Automation Manager.
Qualifications and Skills
  • Basic knowledge of cleaning methods, materials, and equipment.
  • Ability to operate cleaning equipment safely and efficiently.

  • Good physical condition and stamina to perform repetitive tasks and lift heavy objects.

Minimum Requirements

Education: High school diploma or GED

Experience: 1+ years of experience in custodial or cleaning services

Physical Requirements

Cambria’s starting hourly range for this position is $17.00 - $22.66. Hourly ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the target for new hires for the position. Individual pay is determined by several factors, including work location, job‑related experience, and relevant education and/or training.
