Melaleuca, Inc. seeks a dedicated on-site worker at our Knoxville Distribution Center. The role involves cleaning and maintaining the facility, including floors, windows, restrooms, break areas and offices. You will handle trash removal and assist in maintaining a safe, clean environment.

The position requires physical stamina, attention to detail and the ability to work independently with professionalism. Overtime may be required as needed, with a strong emphasis on safety and reliability.

• Keeps outside break area and parking lot clean.
• Cleans hard-to-reach areas.
• Runs floor scrubber on cement floors throughout the facility.
• Performs duties of position in the work area as needed.

Description

• Vacuums carpeted floors and floor mats.
• Sweeps, mops and disinfects floors
• Cleans all windows
• Ensures that all trash is removed from the building and deposits it into the receptacle.
• Cleans all restrooms by sweeping & mopping floors, disinfecting the restrooms, (i.e., wiping & washing urinals, toilets, sinks, stalls, walls, floors, mirrors, etc.) with disinfectant.
• Cleans breakroom by sweeping & mopping floors, disinfecting the breakroom: by wiping & washing tables, chairs, counters, floors, walls, windows, etc.
• Vacuums offices and removes garbage.
• Ensures the outside break area and parking lot is clean and free from litter and debris.
• Cleans various hard-to-reach areas
• Runs the floor scrubber on cement floors throughout the facility

Additional:

• Performs duties of position in the work area as needed or other tasks as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive areas.
• Written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to lift 60 lbs.
• Standing, sitting or walking for duration of shift.
• Pulling stretching, bending and lifting for duration of shift.
• Manual dexterity for such duties as wiping, dusting, cleaning, etc.
• Visually read product labels, SOPs, and written instructions
• Ability to perform the essential duties and responsibilities with efficiency and accuracy.
