Job summary

Job Description

To provide students with a safe, attractive, comfortable, clean, and efficient environment in which to learn, play, and develop. He/she shall take pride in keeping the buildings and grounds safe, clean, and attractive for all occupants and visitors.

Reports to: Director of Buildings and Grounds

Requirements

• Demonstrated aptitude for the successful completion of tasks
• Experience with school custodial services or the equivalent in custodial service in other institutions and/or firms

• Physical capability to perform tasks involving kneeling, bending, or twisting of the body; keeping or regaining balance; making repetitive motions; standing, often for extended periods of time; using hands to handle, control, or feel objects, tools, or controls; lifting objects weighing as much as 50‑75 pounds
