Mark Porter Auto Group is seeking a dependable part-time Custodian/Floater to join our team! The right candidate keeps a clean, welcoming environment for customers and employees across our dealership.

The role emphasizes safety, independence, and flexibility, with responsibilities spanning daily cleaning, restocking, and readiness to handle emergencies as needed.

Qualifications

• High attention to detail and strong work ethic.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Ability to multi-task while maintaining professionalism in a customer-facing environment.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs or greater.
• Must be able to work flexible hours based on business needs.
• Prior janitorial or custodial experience a plus.
• Clean Driving Record and eligibility for insurance purposes.

Responsibilities

• Clean and disinfect high-touch surfaces throughout the dealership including restrooms, counters, kitchens, and doors daily.
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, and maintain all flooring throughout the facility.
• Restock paper products, air fresheners, toilet seat barriers, and kitchen condiments throughout the day.
• Maintain cleanliness of customer lounge, kids' lounge, employee breakroom, and all office areas.
• Properly store, handle, and dispose of cleaning chemicals in compliance with safety regulations.
• Report potential hazards or safety concerns to management promptly.
• Respond to emergencies requiring cleanup as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
