Job summary

Oral Arts Dental Lab in Huntsville, AL seeks a full-time Custodian to maintain a clean and safe facility for a busy dental laboratory. The role involves routine cleaning of work areas, restrooms, and common spaces, plus proper waste disposal and following established safety procedures.

The ideal candidate has custodial or janitorial experience (preferred but not required) and a willingness to learn the lab’s cleaning and sanitation standards.

Qualifications

• Custodial/cleaning experience preferred but not required.
• Willingness to learn established cleaning, safety, and sanitation procedures.
• Physical requirements: able to see, hear, speak, and write clearly; frequent lifting up to 25 lbs, occasional up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary facility environment; clean restrooms, work areas, common spaces, floors, and other areas as needed.
• Maintain supplies, properly dispose of waste, and follow safety and sanitation procedures; report facility concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Assist with overall appearance and condition of the facility and support maintenance reporting.

Position: Dental Laboratory Trainer

Oral Arts is a full-service family owned and operated dental laboratory. We manufacture dental prostheses, such as crowns, bridges, implants, dentures, partials, orthodontic appliances, etc. and have an immediate need for a full-time Dental Lab Trainer.

Description of responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

This position is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, orderly, and sanitary environment throughout the facility. Performs routine cleaning and custodial duties, including cleaning and sanitizing work areas, restrooms, common areas, floors, and other assigned spaces. Maintains adequate supplies, properly handles and disposes of waste, and follows established safety, sanitation, and cleaning procedures. Assists with maintaining the overall appearance and condition of the facility and reports maintenance, safety, or other facility concerns to the appropriate personnel.

Experience:

Previous custodial, janitorial, housekeeping, or general cleaning experience preferred but not required. Experience using common cleaning equipment and products is a plus. Willingness to learn and follow established cleaning, safety, and sanitation procedures is required.

Pay/Salary is based on relevant experience.
