Overview

DEPARTMENT: Administration

REPORTS TO: Corps Officer & Kara Bray

SUPERVISES: No one

STATUS: Non Exempt

SCHEDULE: Monday - Friday, 9:30 AM – 2:30 PM

FUNCTION: Clean and maintain the building and grounds; perform minor repairs; assist with programs as listed below.

Responsibilities

DUTIES:

Daily Duties:

• Clean and maintain all designated areas according to daily assignments, including but not limited to:
• Bathrooms (7)
• Kitchen and dining areas
• Offices, rooms, and closets
• Outdoor trash pickup
• Windows and doors
• Stairs, carpets, tiles, and mats
• Light fixtures
• Remove garbage and replace bags
• Refrigerators and freezers

Assist with room preparations for programs and events.

Assist with loading and unloading donations and equipment as needed.

Assist with food distribution during programs.

Help organize and shelve donations and items as required.

Qualifications

• Two years of experience in a similar position
• Ability to multi-task and complete duties efficiently
• Follow guidelines and procedures of The Salvation Army
