Job summary

Avery Weigh-Tronix is seeking an entry-level cleaner to perform routine cleaning and sanitizing, keep the building and surrounding grounds tidy, and assist with basic maintenance tasks. This role supports a clean, safe work environment and requires little supervision.

Responsibilities include dusting, sweeping, mopping, and using commercial cleaning equipment, with opportunities to participate in inventory and supply management as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Entry-level support role is acceptable.
• Ability to perform routine tasks with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Replenish products and supplies in assigned areas.

• Perform minor repairs like changing bulbs or fixtures.
• Report needed repairs to supervisor.
• Order cleaning supplies and equipment as needed.
• Perform basic maintenance and outside grounds work when required.

What You Will Do

• Duties may include dusting, sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, and vacuuming
• Ensure equipment is cleaned and stored following use
• Emptying trash receptacles and recycling bins, disposing of waste, and cleaning containers
• Replenish products and supplies in assigned area
• Help with the inventory and ordering of products for lunchrooms
• Using equipment, commercial vacuums, floor buffers and carpet cleaner
• Performing minor repairs, such as replacing light bulbs, fixing fixtures, or light painting.
• Alert appropriate personnel concerning the need for repairs or additions to building operating systems
• Notify supervisor of need to order various cleaning supplies and equipment.
• Remove and dispose of debris or trash.
• May perform basic maintenance and repair duties, including outside grounds work as required.

Pay Range: $17.77 - $20.65 per hour
