Job Position Description

We are seeking a motivated, detail-oriented custodian to service an account in Dexter, MI, 3-4 hours daily, Monday through Friday evenings.

This role involves creating cleaner, healthier environments by performing essential cleaning duties, which may include:

• Cleaning facilities using provided products, tools, and procedures
• Sweeping, mopping, polishing, trash removal, window cleaning, moving furniture, etc.
• Maintaining inventory of supplies and equipment
• Using proper PPE as required
• Opening and locking facilities, managing security systems

Preferred but not required: 1-2 years’ experience as a custodian, janitor, housekeeper, or related fields. On-the-job training will be provided for those with a strong work ethic and willingness to learn. Experience in professional janitorial services, office complexes, hotels, hospitals, or schools is advantageous.

The candidate must be flexible, able to work in a fast-paced environment, dependable, punctual, and maintain a positive attitude, including being in uniform and respectful to co-workers and customers. Communication skills in English are required.

Physical Demands and Qualifications

• Constant standing, walking, pushing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, twisting, reaching overhead and forward. Must lift/carry up to 25 lbs.
• Ability to read cleaning instructions and differentiate between cleaning products and their uses.
