RedBuilt is hiring immediately for a full-time Custodian at our Delaware, OH facility. We offer a safety-first environment, growth opportunities, and a comprehensive benefits package. Earn an additional $2,000 during your first six months and a $2,000 signing bonus. Shifts Monday–Friday, 6:00am–2:30pm. Responsibilities include cleaning, trash removal, floor care, bathroom sanitation, and light outdoor maintenance.

Prior cleaning experience is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• Working knowledge of industrial cleaning equipment and appliances.
• Understanding of safety protocols for disposal of chemicals and hazardous items.
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Able to work 18 years or older; attend to physical tasks.

Responsabilités

• Take out trash, tidy, and wipe surfaces as needed.
• Sweep and mop floors; vacuum carpets.
• Sanitize bathrooms and restock supplies.
• Perform general outdoor maintenance and site cleaning.
• Receive and use provided tools and supplies for tasks.

Wage Range:

$16.50 to $18.00 hourly – We pay to reflect your prior applicable work experience!

Shifts Available:

• Monday through Friday (6:00am - 2:30pm)

A Custodian's typical day may include…

• Taking out the trash, tidying, and wiping surfaces as needed.
• Sweeping and mopping floors, as well as vacuuming carpets.
• Daily cleaning and sanitizing of all bathroom facilities and restocking necessary items, such as soap and paper products.
• General outdoor services and maintenance, such as watering plants, sweeping entry areas, and cleaning glass doors at entrances.
• All tools and supplies necessary to complete tasks assigned will be provided.

What does RedBuilt do?

Our Delaware, OH manufacturing facility builds engineered wood trusses, constructs wood wall panels, welds structural steel frames, and assembles job packages for delivery direct to the construction site.

What do we look for in a Custodian?

We are looking for full-time Custodians with previous cleaning experience preferred but not required.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (Minimum Qualifications)

• Working knowledge of industrial cleaning equipment and appliances, and how to maintain them.
• Understanding of safety protocols such as disposal of chemicals and other hazardous items.
• Comfortable with basic landscaping and maintenance tasks.
• Detail-oriented and conscientiousness.
• Must be 18 years of age.
• High School Diploma or GED (not required, but a plus!).
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Must be on time and ready to work.

Physical Demands/Work Environment

• Ability to occasionally lift and/or move up to 30 pounds.
• Ability to frequently walk and/or stand for prolonged periods of time.
• Ability to occasionally bend, squat and/or stoop.
• Manual and finger dexterity as required to perform daily job duties.
