University of South Carolina Upstate is seeking a Custodian to perform custodial and housekeeping duties across USC Upstate campus, ensuring clean and safe facilities. You may be assigned to one or two buildings and must be flexible for weekend work and any shift.

Responsibilities include following USC Upstate's housekeeping standards, using the work order system, and completing OSHA training annually. High school diploma and related experience are preferred.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities Successful background check is required. Ability to understand and carry out routine oral and written instructions. Understand and follow USC Upstate's general housekeeping standards. Ability to make minor repairs and adjustments of equipment. Exhibit large degree of flexibility: will be assigned principally to one or two buildings to be able to perform work in any building as needed or on rotational building. Must be knowledgeable of all buildings to be able to perform work in any buildings as needed or on rotational building schedule. Effectively uses work order management system. Follows OSHA standards and guidelines when performing duties. Successfully completes annual OSHA training.

Preferred Qualifications High school diploma and 2 years related experience or equivalency. Considerable knowledge of custodial operations and methods.
