Job summary

H-E Parts International LLC is seeking a Custodian to keep our workshop and facilities clean, organized, and safe, enabling our teams to focus on rebuilding critical mining equipment with high safety standards.

The ideal candidate is dependable, detail oriented, and able to work both independently and as part of a team, ensuring all areas are well maintained and clean, while following safety rules and procedures.

• Knowledge, recognition, care and use of all equipment pertinent to the job requirements.
• Begin and complete a project with a minimum of supervision.
• Flexibility to change routines.
• Must have good attendance and be dependable.
• Be at your workstation ready to work at assigned time.
• Be a team player, but also be able to work alone.
• Must have consideration for all team members.
• Be a willing learner.

Responsibilities

• Pick-up, sweep & mop assigned areas.
• Empty trash cans in assigned areas.
• Empty steel bins and/or scrap bins in assigned areas.
• Wipe down & clean cabinets, desk, etc, in assigned areas.
• Wipe down & clean machinery in assigned areas.
• Keep maintenance closet picked up & in proper order.
• Make sure all dirty mop heads are put in proper location.
• Report any malfunction or problems with the rider & walk behind floor scrubbers to supervisor.
• Keep all shop corners picked-up & cleaned.
• Keep area behind all shop machines picked-up & cleaned.

Summary

Keep the premises of building, internal and or external in clean and orderly condition.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

EDUCATION And/or EXPERIENCE

A high school diploma or general education degree (GED) is required. Must be able to pass background/drug tests.
