Job summary

Valence Surface Technologies in Blairsville, PA is seeking a dependable janitorial/custodial associate to maintain clean floors, restrooms, and common areas. The role requires a High School Diploma or GED and prior custodial experience is preferred.

• Restock supplies and empty trash; ensure dispensers are filled.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Essential Functions

• Clean floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing or vacuuming
• Cleaning, which includes: machines, mixers, table racks, conveyors, dishes, refrigerators
• Dusting of all office furniture, wipe down of desks
• Cleaning all bathrooms and breakrooms
• Restocking bathrooms/breakrooms
• Empty trash and recycle cans
• Strip, clean, buff and apply floor sealer and shampoo carpets
• Ensure soap and paper towel dispensers are full at all times
• General cleaning: removal of garbage and debris in all departments, assist paint in weekly cleanup
• Pick up trash in parking lots and areas surrounding buildings
• Wear necessary PPE to protect from hazards including hexavalent chromium
• Perform other duties as assigned

Work Environment
