Job summary

New Hanover County Schools is seeking a Custodian to perform cleaning and minor maintenance tasks according to a set schedule.

The role reports to the Principal or Department Administrator and supports a clean, safe school environment. A High School degree or equivalent is preferred, with experience in cleaning and knowledge of equipment and methods. A 10- or 12-month work year is typical under district policies.

Qualifications

• High School degree or equivalent preferred.
• Experience with cleaning work, knowledge of cleaning methods, materials and equipment.
• Other qualifications as the superintendent and board may find appropriate and acceptable.
