Job summary

Malace|HR is seeking a Custodian for our manufacturing facility in Auburn Hills, MI. This physically demanding role runs 4:00 PM to 12:30 AM with an hourly pay of $17. You will perform general cleaning, restroom and break room maintenance, and assist with yard and external area upkeep.

Responsibilities include moving pallets, removing cardboard, and safe operation of any required equipment. Prior janitorial experience preferred; lifting >50 lbs is common, and adherence to safety protocols is

• Clean outside areas and manage waste disposal, including emptying trash.
• Move and stack pallets and cardboard; basic material handling.
• Operate forklift as needed for material movement.

Seeking Custodian for manufacturing facility in Auburn Hills, MI

Essential Janitorial Duties and Responsibilities:

General Cleaning - Restrooms, Break Rooms, Conference Rooms, etc., This is a PHYSICALLY DEMANDING position. It entails A LOT of walking (miles a day) and includes emptying trashes (heavy lifting) and cleaning outside areas (make sure to bring coat): Yard area, guard shack, smoke area, etc.

While janitorial is a good part of the services we offer, we also handle various other tasks. Tasks include, but are not limited to:

• Removing and Bailing Cardboard
• Moving and stacking Pallets
• Fork truck operation

Qualifications:;

• Previous experience in a janitor, custodian, cleaner or housekeeping position preferred
• Frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling greater than 50 lbs.
• Must be able to follow basic safety procedures and precautions due to physical risks and exposure to hazardous chemicals
