Mark Porter Auto Group in Ashland, KY seeks a Custodian to maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming showroom, offices and restrooms. You will vacuum, mop, sanitize, manage trash and recycling, monitor supplies, and respond to spills to keep our dealership shining for customers and staff.

Qualifications

• Ability to safely operate industrial cleaning equipment and handle various cleaning chemicals.
• Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks such as bending, lifting, and standing for extended periods.
• Reliable transportation for daily travel to the dealership location in Ashland.
• Attention to detail when maintaining cleanliness and safety standards.
• Previous experience in janitorial or building maintenance work.
• Basic understanding of safety protocols and building security procedures.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize showrooms, offices, and restrooms to ensure a welcoming environment for our customers and staff.
• Manage trash removal and recycling throughout the dealership facilities.
• Monitor supply inventory and notify management when we are running low on cleaning materials or restroom essentials.
• Handle floor maintenance, including vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, and occasional shampooing.
• Address spills or cleanliness issues promptly as they arise during the workday.
• Ensure that all exterior entrances remain clear and presentable for our visitors.
