National Park Service is seeking a Custodial Worker (Motor Vehicle Operator) at Harper's Ferry National Historic Park, Harper's Ferry, West Virginia. At the full performance level (WG-04), duties include operating light to heavy cleaning equipment, moving supplies, and performing duties on ladders or scaffolds.

Qualifications

• There is no substitution of education for experience for Federal Wage System (FWS) positions.

Responsibilities

• Does the full range of cleaning duties in an assigned area following general instructions.
• Performs custodial/janitorial duties cleaning, sanitizing, emptying trash, and restocking restrooms.
• Scrubs, strips, waxes and polishes floors using heavy power scrubber and buffer.
• Washes walls and cleans rugs/carpets; operates and maintains cleaning machines.
• Moves heavy furniture, supplies, and equipment; may work on ladders or scaffolds to change light bulbs.
