Job summary

Alejut-Federal-LL is seeking a janitorial associate in Harpers Ferry, WV. Qualifications

One year of related janitorial experience preferred.
Contract requires U.S. Citizenship or lawful permanent residence; must have valid social security card.
Contract requires ability to obtain Public Trust Clearance.
Must have a valid and unrestricted driver’s license.
Must be able to stand, walk, stoop, and reach repetitively.
Must have endurance to perform tasks over long periods.
Must be able to lift to 25 lbs. regularly.

Responsibilities

Perform periodic cleaning duties: floors, rugs, walls, glass, rubbish.
Check off tasks daily to ensure area is cleaned and building completed.
Mix water and detergents per product specs; dispense chemicals with correct labels.
Clean building floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming.
Gathers and empties trash, near exterior entrances.
Service, supply, and clean restrooms.
Clean/polish furniture, fountains, windows, mirrors.
Dust office furniture, walls, machines, equipment.
Spot clean/shampoo carpets; strip, seal, finish, polish floors.
Drive vans between work sites.
