Job summary

Regions Hospital is seeking a positive and cheerful Custodial Worker to join our team. We are looking for honest, hardworking individuals who are driven to help others. This position provides a clean and safe environment for patients and staff, with duties including cleaning, moving supplies, and performing environmental services.

The role is on-call/casual with day shift hours. Education: High School diploma or equivalent preferred; custodial experience in a hospital setting is preferred.

• Physical requirements: Lift up to 50 pounds; push/pull 30 pounds up to 90 feet

Responsibilities

• Cleaning and servicing all areas of the hospital according to established procedures.
• Moves supplies throughout the hospital and moves light equipment or furniture as requested.
• Performs a variety of environmental services to maintain a clean and sanitary condition.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

• Cleaning and servicing all areas of the hospital according to established procedures.
• Moves supplies throughout the hospital and will also move light equipment or furniture occasionally per department set up request.
• Performs a variety of environmental services and cleaning duties to help maintain the hospital in a clean and sanitary condition.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
