Custodial Supervisor
The Custodial Worker performs routine custodial and housekeeping duties in various campus facilities as part of a custodial services team. Under the general supervision of the Custodial Supervisor, this position is responsible for maintaining clean, safe, and orderly environments through trash removal, recycling collection, general cleaning, floor care, and the cleaning of building furnishings, fixtures, and windows. The Custodial Worker contributes to a positive campus experience by ensuring facilities are well maintained and presentable for students, faculty, staff, and visitors.
High school diploma or GED.
Work is performed in a variety of campus facilities and environments. Position requires frequent standing, walking, bending, reaching, lifting, pushing, and pulling. Exposure to cleaning chemicals, dust, noise, and varying temperatures may occur. Overtime and work schedules outside of regular hours may be required based on operational needs. Must be able to wear and utilize appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
The offer for this position will fall within the positions pay range based on internal equity, unit's available budget, and the candidate's qualifications.
