Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Floor care: sweep, mop, and vacuum all floors in public and operational areas.

• General surface care: dust furniture, fixtures, high-touch surfaces, baseboards.
• Waste management: empty bins, replace liners, and haul waste.

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Custodial Worker to maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment across our facility. In this role, you will be responsible for the overall upkeep of both internal and external spaces during public and operational hours. Key duties include daily floor care, restroom and breakroom sanitation, waste removal, and managing cleaning inventory records.

Key Responsibilities

Daily Cleaning & Sanitation

• Floor Care: Sweep, mop, and vacuum all tile, hardwood, and carpeted floors in public areas, offices, and operational spaces.
• Restroom Maintenance: Deep clean, sanitize, and disinfect sinks, toilets, mirrors, and fixtures; restock soap, paper towels, and toilet paper throughout the shift.
• Breakroom & Common Areas: Sanitize countertops, tables, appliances, and sinks; clear and wipe down dining and lounge areas.
• General Surface Care: Dust furniture, light fixtures, window sills, baseboards, high-touch surfaces, and decorative fixtures.
• Waste Management: Empty all internal and external trash cans and recycling bins; replace liners and haul waste to designated dumpster areas.

Exterior & Facility Grounds

• Clean and maintain the facility exterior, including sweeping entryways, walkways, parking lot and trash collection zones.
• Keep exterior glass doors and entryway windows free of smudges and debris.

Inventory & Supply Chain Management

• Keep janitorial and storage closets clean, organized, and properly stocked according to safety standards.
• Track monthly cleaning supply usage and report stock levels to management.
• Maintain clear records of inventory counts and log requests for replacement supplies before stock runs low.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Experience: Previous custodial, janitorial, or commercial cleaning experience preferred.
• Physical Demands: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand, walk, bend, reach, and operate cleaning equipment for extended periods.
• Detail-Oriented: Strong eye for cleanliness, organization, and safety standards.
• Self-Motivated: Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while adhering to a daily cleaning schedule.
• Communication: Clear communication skills for reporting supply needs and coordinating tasks during operational hours.

Working Conditions & Schedule

• Work will take place indoors and outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Shifts may occur during public/operational hours, requiring a professional demeanor around staff and visitors.
