Job summary

Cabot Hosiery Mills is seeking a dedicated cleaner to keep offices, production areas, and restrooms clean, organized, and safe in Vermont, USA.

The role requires a High School Diploma or GED, safety training, and strong communication. Weekend shifts Fri–Sun are 6:00 AM–6:30 PM with a 20% pay differential. Pay starts at $19–$21 per hour, based on experience, with local site travel as needed.

Responsibilities

• Upkeep of restrooms including cleaning and restocking
• Cleaning of office, production, and breakroom areas
• Removal of rubbish and recycling
• Cleaning windows and other glass surfaces
• Vacuuming and mopping floors
• Responding to and clearing sanitary backups
• Changing light bulbs and executing minor repairs
• Cleaning all other property used by the company in a way that keeps all employees safe
• Additional duties including sidewalk maintenance (snow/grass), lawn and driveway care, other facility related tasks

Working Conditions

• Manufacturing environment - exposure to machinery, noise and other adverse conditions for periods of time depending on the role
• Ability to occasionally lift at least 61 pounds to a height of 60 inches
• Ability to carry 30 pounds for at least 10 feet.
• Flexible nature to manage competing and changing priorities
• Travel locally to all of the organization's sites and locations
• Occasional travel on as needed basis
