Job summary

Enviro-Clean is seeking a dependable, people-focused Custodial Trainer/Recruiting Assistant to train and support janitorial team members while assisting with recruiting and hiring needs. 1st Shift, Full-Time. $21.50/hour. The role emphasizes training on cleaning procedures, safety, and company expectations; providing coaching; and supporting recruiting as needed. Travel between locations is required.

Qualifications

• Janitorial or facilities experience preferred.
• Training, coaching, supervisory, or recruiting experience is a plus.
• Strong communication and people skills.
• Organized, dependable and able to work independently.
• Bilingual candidates are preferred but not required.

At Enviro-Clean we’re looking for a dependable, people-focused Custodial Trainer/Recruiting Assistant to train and support janitorial team members while assisting with recruiting and hiring needs as needed.

1 st Shift

Full-Time

$21.50/hour

Key Responsibilities - Primary focus: Employee Training & Development

• Train new and existing janitorial employees on cleaning procedures, equipment, safety, and company expectations.
• Provide coaching, follow-up, and support to help employees succeed.
• Use cleaning equipment such as backpack vacuums and floor scrubbers (training provided)
• Step in as recruiting/hiring support during periods of increased hiring needs.
• Partner with Operations to identify training and staffing needs.
• Travel between locations as needed for training, recruiting, and employee support (sub cleaning).
• Sub Cleaning: Duties include sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, trash removal, and restroom care as needed

What We're Looking For

• Janitorial, custodial, housekeeping, or facilities experience preferred.
• Training, coaching, supervisory, recruiting, or hiring experience is a plus.
• Strong communication and people skills.
• Organized, dependable, and comfortable working independently.
• Professional and approachable with the ability to motivate others.
• Previous maintenance, handyman, or related experience preferred, but not required.
• Bilingual candidates preferred; however, bilingual skills are not a disqualifying factor.
• Valid driver's license and own reliable transportation (paid mileage and drive time)
