Job summary

LAUKOA seeks a qualified Janitor to support Fort Meade facilities, performing routine cleaning, sanitizing, floor care, waste removal, and general custodial duties in Government facilities, ensuring clean, safe, and professional workplaces in compliance with contract requirements.

This role requires attention to detail, ability to follow instructions, and capability to operate janitorial equipment; candidates must be able to lift supplies and work in varied conditions; TS/SCI security clearance

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior janitorial, custodial, housekeeping, or commercial cleaning experience preferred.
• Experience cleaning commercial, industrial, institutional, or Government facilities preferred.
• Ability to safely use cleaning chemicals, janitorial tools, and custodial equipment.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine janitorial and custodial services in assigned facilities and work areas.
• Clean and sanitize restrooms, offices, hallways, common areas, breakrooms, entrances, stairways, and other assigned spaces.
• Operate janitorial equipment safely and in accordance with instructions.
• Empty trash and recycling containers and replace liners as needed.
• Replenish restroom supplies, paper products, soap, and other consumable supplies.
• Maintain janitorial closets, equipment, supplies, and work areas in a clean, safe, and organized condition.
• Respond to assigned work orders and service requests in a timely manner.
• Comply with all environmental, safety, security, and contract requirements.
