Job summary

Diversified Maintenance seeks a reliable Janitor to join our commercial facilities cleaning team in Georgia. We offer part-time and full-time shifts across multiple sites, with $12 per hour pay and weekly pay schedule.

You will perform cleaning, floor care, restroom upkeep, trash disposal, and general maintenance, following client specifications. No advanced degree required; six months janitorial experience preferred, on-the-job training provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent, or six months of janitorial experience.
• Attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions.
• On-the-job training will be provided.
• Prior cleaning or janitorial experience is a plus.
• Familiarity with custodial practices and commercial cleaning standards is beneficial.
• Knowledge of floor care techniques including buffing and waxing is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and clean all floor surfaces by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing or vacuuming.
• Follow procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment to protect floors and other surfaces.
• Clean, monitor and maintain restrooms, meeting rooms, corridors, and entrance areas.
• Empty trash and manage disposal; operate or assist with the use of a compactor as needed.
• Clean windows, glass partitions and mirrors with appropriate cleaners and equipment.
• Spot clean carpets and assist in carpet extractions and shampooing.
• Replenish paper products and sanitary supplies; follow the housekeeping schedule.
• Occasionally use heavy cleaning equipment such as floor scrubbers and back-pack vacuums.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the scope of work or client needs.
