The Ohio Department of Behavioral Health is hiring a Custodial Worker for the Summit Behavioral Healthcare Campus in Cincinnati. This full-time role maintains clean environments on units and public areas, performs dusting, mopping, and sanitizing, and supports facility operations on a schedule from 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM.

The position is within OCSEA, with a pay rate of $19.44 per hour and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Custodial experience or basic cleaning skills.
• Unskilled labor classification applies; no formal degree required.
• Official transcripts may be required for listed education.

Responsibilities

• Maintains a clean environment on a unit assignment or in an assigned public area.
• Mop spills, dust, wipe down, & / or wash furniture, walls, ceilings, doors, window blinds, windows & sills, ceiling/wall air ducts, & light fixtures.
• Vacuum & shampoo carpets; clean & sanitize toilets, water fountains, baths and showers; replace disposables and remove trash.
• MOD room: change bed linen and handle soiled linen for cleaning; tidy and sanitize related areas.
