Job summary

Maple Knoll Village is seeking a Custodial Technician to maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary environment in a skilled nursing facility. You will contribute to residents' dignity and quality of life while supporting the facility's mission of compassionate care.

Qualifications

• At least two years of prior professional cleaning experience, preferred.
• Ability to learn on the job and follow procedures.
• Team player with compassion for the elderly.

Responsibilities

• Thoroughly cleans resident spaces, bathing areas, lounges, offices and dining areas.
• Mops floors, vacuums, spot cleans carpets, empties trash.
• Dusts and cleans furniture, fixtures, equipment.
• Washes windows and sills.
• Cleans and sanitizes lavatories and bowls inside and out.
• Follows cleaning procedures and schedules for areas and units.
• Keeps equipment and storage areas clean and orderly.
• Transports linens, supplies, and equipment.
• Follows infection control procedures.
• Performs light maintenance as needed.
• Full-time Day shift 7:30a-3:30p, every other weekend and some holidays.

A Custodial Technician plays a vital role in a skilled nursing facility by maintaining a clean, safe, and sanitary environment that supports the health and well-being of residents, staff, and visitors. In This Role You Will:

• Thoroughly cleans resident spaces, bathing area, lounges, offices, hallways, dining area, recreational areas, public bathrooms, and other rooms as assigned.
• Mops floors, vacuums, spot cleans carpeted areas and empties trash.
• Dusts and/or washes furniture, fixtures, and equipment.
• Washes windows and sills.
• Cleans and sanitizes lavatories and toiles bowls inside and out.
• Performs written cleaning procedures and follows written cleaning schedules for common areas, outside areas and resident units.
• Keeps all equipment and storage areas clean and orderly.
• Transports linens and other supplies and equipment.
• Follows all written infection control procedures established by the community.
• Performs light maintenance responsibilities, as needed.
• Fulltime Day shift 7:30a- 3:30p, every other weekend and some holidays

Who You Are:

• Must be able to acquire sufficient knowledge and learn new skills through on-the-job training and instructions to satisfactorily meet job performance
• At least two (2) years of prior professional cleaning experience, preferred
• A team player and have passion to the serve the elderly!
