Maple Knoll Village in Cincinnati, OH, is seeking a Custodial Technician to keep resident spaces clean and safe. This full-time day shift runs 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., with every other weekend and some holidays.

Qualifications

• At least two years of professional cleaning experience.

Responsibilities

• Thoroughly cleans resident spaces, bathing area, lounges, offices, hallways, dining areas and restrooms.
• Mops floors, vacuums, handles trash and maintains clean areas.
• Dusts and cleans furniture, fixtures and equipment.
• Cleans windows and sanitizes lavatories.
• Follows cleaning procedures and schedules for all areas.
• Transports linens and supplies and maintains storage areas.

In This Role You Will:

• Thoroughly cleans resident spaces, bathing area, lounges, offices, hallways, dining area, recreational areas, public bathrooms, and other rooms as assigned.
• Mops floors, vacuums, spot cleans carpeted areas and empties trash.
• Dusts and/or washes furniture, fixtures, and equipment.
• Washes windows and sills.
• Cleans and sanitizes lavatories and toiles bowls inside and out.
• Performs written cleaning procedures and follows written cleaning schedules for common areas, outside areas and resident units.
• Keeps all equipment and storage areas clean and orderly.
• Transports linens and other supplies and equipment.
• Follows all written infection control procedures established by the community.
• Performs light maintenance responsibilities, as needed.
• Fulltime Day shift 7:30a- 3:30p, every other weekend and some holidays

Who You Are:

• Must be able to acquire sufficient knowledge and learn new skills through on-the-job training and instructions to satisfactorily meet job performance
• At least two (2) years of prior professional cleaning experience, preferred
• A team player and have passion to the serve the elderly!
