Job summary

The ideal candidate will have a HS diploma or GED, 2 years related custodial experience, and a valid driver's license. Prior supervisory experience is preferred, with reliable transportation to travel between sites.

Responsibilities

• Act as point of contact for customer and ensure that all requests are addressed promptly.
• Maintain regular communication with customer and manager to keep all parties informed on site updates, progress, issues or concerns.
• Provide backup for custodial staff, traveling and working at different sites to maintain full coverage.
• Perform regular quality control inspections to ensure quality parameters are met.
• Schedule staff and assure adequate coverage for site duties.
• Follow daily job routines and step-by-step procedures for cleaning tasks.
• Follow manufacturers' recommendations for use of cleaning solutions and equipment.
• Adhere to all safety procedures when operating equipment.
• Maintain and issue supplies and equipment including inventory management.
• Resolve workers' problems or refer matters to Manager.
• Assist in performing duties of workers supervised.
• Ensure a level of cleanliness that meets customer expectations.
• Contribute information for employees' annual reviews as requested.

• Follow the daily job routine in the order it is outlined.
• Use the correct step by step procedure for each cleaning task.
• Follow manufacturer's recommendations for use of all cleaning solutions and equipment.
• Follow all safety procedures when operating equipment.
• Maintain, order and issue supplies and equipment including inventory of needed supplies.
• Resolves workers' problems or refers matters to Manager.
• Submits requests for repair of equipment to Manager.
• Assist in performing duties of workers supervised.
• Ensure a level of cleanliness which meets the quality expectations of the customer.
• Contributes information for employees' annual reviews as requested.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED); two years related experience and/or training preferred.
• Previous custodial experience required.
• Reliable transportation and ability to travel to different sites.
• Previous supervisory experience preferred.
• Must have a driver's license.
• Must have strong communication skills to coordinate customer needs and expectations and supervise staff.
