Job summary

Goodwill Omaha is seeking a Custodial Supervisor to support the Senior Project Manager in delivering custodial services at the Stockyards site. The role combines hands-on cleaning with supervisory duties, staff training, and performance oversight within a contract environment.

Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED and at least three years of custodial experience, along with First Aid/CPR certification.

Responsibilities

  • Recruit, hire, train, schedule, develop, and evaluate custodial personnel effectively.
  • Prepare supply inventory accounts. Order supplies in absence of Senior Project Manager.
  • Document and report irregularities or issues at contract sites in a timely manner.
  • Complete required personnel and administrative paperwork in a timely manner.
  • Complete custodial work in a safe and efficient manner according to OSHA/agency safety policy and procedures.
  • Complete building inspections periodically and address any performance issues with custodial staff.
  • Maintain accurate and updated Safety Data Sheets (SDS).
  • Assist Senior Project Manager in providing information for initial evaluations, quarterly check-ins, and annual reviews.
  • Assist Senior Project Manager in providing ongoing accommodations to AbilityOne employees based on functional limitations.
  • Empower employees to maximize their employment potential by assisting them in increasing productivity through reasonable accommodations.
  • Drive Goodwill vehicles to designated work locations safety and on schedule.
  • Maintain vehicles in a clean, safe condition and comply with all DOT and Goodwill policies.
  • Represent Goodwill positively while operating vehicles and interacting with the public.
  • Actively maintain a safe, healthy, and positive environment that promotes the physical and emotional well-being of employees, customers, and participants.
  • Other duties as assigned or required to fulfill the contract.

Custodial Supervisor
Department: Contracts

Pay Range: $22.00 - $24.00

JOB SUMMARY

The Custodial Supervisor supports the Senior Project Manager in ensuring custodial operations are delivered safely, efficiently, and in accordance with contract requirements. This is a working supervisor role that performs custodial duties while providing leadership, training and oversight to custodial staff.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBLITIES

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
  • High school diploma/GED required
  • Three (3) years of custodial experience required
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
  • First Aid/CPR Certification
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office-Excel, Outlook, and Word and the Internet
  • Must have excellent organization and communication skills
  • Must have a thorough knowledge of proper custodial procedures
  • Must be able to operate and instruct in use of cleaning equipment
  • Maintain a good driving record that meets our Insurance Company's Guidelines
