Job summary

Jordan Public Schools is seeking a part-time Custodial Student Helper to maintain a clean and safe environment for students, staff and the public at the district. Responsibilities include trash removal, vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, event setup and window cleaning.

The role offers afternoon shifts of 3:30–6:30 as needed, not to exceed 14 hours per week, with supervision by the Facilities Director. A strong team player with reliability is essential.

Qualifications

• Must maintain a 2.0 GPA.
• Good physical condition, ability to work in confined areas (e.g., boiler room) and lift up to 25 pounds.
• Maintain confidentiality, professionalism and appropriate dress and appearance.
• Personal attributes necessary for working within a team setting and creating an inviting environment.
• Detail oriented.

Position
