Zusammenfassung

Covenant House New York is seeking a Custodial Specialist to maintain a clean, safe facility for youth, staff and visitors at multiple CHNY locations in New York. You will perform daily cleaning tasks across residential units, offices, and common areas, while coordinating with staff to schedule routine services.

The role requires at least one year of housekeeping experience, strong time management, and the ability to work physically for long shifts.

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred, not required.
• At least one year of housekeeping experience.
• Strong time management and ability to multitask.
• Knowledge of safety precautions for handling products and equipment.

Aufgaben

• Perform day-to-day custodial activities as assigned.
• Clean floors, residential units, offices, bathrooms, and common areas.
• Communicate needs for routine cleaning with staff in relevant areas.
• Report accidents and safety concerns to supervisor.
• Attend trainings and mandatory sessions.
• Follow infectious control protocols and universal precautions.
• Handle chemicals safely per policies and MSDSs.
• Maintain grounds, parking areas, and remove garbage.
• Keep work areas organized and supplies stocked.
• Follow cleaning schedules and report maintenance needs.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
