Job summary

Kane Realty Corporation is seeking a Custodial Shift Supervisor to lead the 2nd shift (3:00 PM – 11:00 PM) across assigned properties. You will supervise custodial staff, coordinate daily activities, and ensure high cleanliness and safety standards are met.

A hands-on leader capable of guiding training and improving methods is required. Qualified candidates have 1–3 years in custodial or related operations and at least 2 years in a supervisory role.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1–3 years custodial, facilities, or service-related operations experience.
• Minimum 2 years of supervisory or team lead experience preferred.
• Must successfully pass a background check and drug screening.
• Must be bilingual.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, coordinate, direct, inspect, and evaluate the performance of 2nd shift custodial staff.
• Plan, organize, and prioritize daily custodial and grounds-related activities to ensure efficient workflow.
• Assign duties and monitor completion of work assignments to maintain high cleanliness standards.
• Conduct regular site inspections to ensure appearance, sanitation, and service standards meet or exceed expectations.
• Assist with scheduling adjustments and staffing coordination with the Custodial Manager.
• Review and improve work methods, procedures, and training practices to ensure compliance with safety policies and operational expectations.
• Support safety programs and procedures across all locations.
• Assist in developing and maintaining training programs for custodial staff with proper documentation.
• Monitor inventory and assist in determining equipment, supplies, and tools needed.
• Foster a positive, team-oriented work environment focused on accountability and customer service.

Kane Realty Corporation is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Custodial Shift Supervisor to lead our 2nd shift custodial operations (3:00 PM – 11:00 PM). This role is responsible for supervising custodial team members, ensuring exceptional cleanliness standards, and delivering a high level of service across assigned properties.

The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader who can effectively coordinate daily operations, maintain quality standards, support team development, and promote a safe and professional work environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise, coordinate, direct, inspect, and evaluate the performance of 2nd shift custodial staff.
• Plan, organize, and prioritize daily custodial and grounds-related activities to ensure efficient workflow and operational effectiveness.

• Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Working knowledge of custodial operations, cleaning methods, equipment, and safety practices.
• Ability to travel independently between multiple sites as needed.
• Must be bilingual.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record required.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, stretch, twist, climb, and sit for extended periods.
• Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 25 pounds unassisted.
• Ability to work in varying environmental conditions, including heat, cold, wetness, dust, and noise.
