Job summary

Transwest Inc is hiring a dedicated custodian to keep our facilities clean and organized. You will handle trash disposal, floor cleaning, and general maintenance to support daily operations.

This hourly, non-exempt role offers a full benefits package and opportunities for growth. You must have a high school diploma, a valid driver's license, and the ability to pass a background check and drug screen.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid Driver's License and MVR in good standing.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to represent the company in a professional manner.
• Must complete General Abilities Assessment, pass a post-offer background check, physical and drug screen.
• Prior custodial or janitorial experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Indoor and outdoor trash disposal.
• Sweep and scrub floors.
• Clean up oil and paint spills.
• Clean display floors, locker rooms, restrooms, and break areas.
• Clean garage doors, windows, technician work bays and exterior aprons.
• Clean warehouse thoroughly.
• Clean various pieces of equipment.
• Clean all company vehicles.
• Clean and organize the tool room.
• Light maintenance work.
• Perform safety cabinet audits including checking fire extinguishers.
• Additional duties as assigned.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Indoor and outdoor trash disposal

Requirements

WORK ENVIRONMENT & PHYSICAL ABILITIES:

• Requires frequent sitting, standing, balancing, bending or stooping for prolonged periods of time
• Manual dexterity, fine manipulation, the ability to reach with hands and arms, the ability to lift up to 75 lbs
• Ability to regularly move items weighing 20 lbs
• Must be able to operate simple, complex and heavy-duty machinery
• Normal range of hearing and vision

REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:

• High school diploma or equivalent
