Job Overview

The Custodial Services Worker is responsible for cleaning and maintaining assigned areas to ensure customer satisfaction. Responsibilities may vary based on specific events or projects.

Compensation and Benefits

This role offers an hourly wage of $11.00 to $13.50. Benefits for part-time roles include a 401(k) savings plan and matching.

Essential Responsibilities

• Follow established procedures to ensure a safe working environment
• Maintain cleanliness and orderliness to promote safety and health
• Properly maintain and operate housekeeping equipment
• Clean assigned areas to meet event and client standards, including parking lots, offices, arena, exhibit hall, pavilion, and ball fields
• Handle storage and disposal of trash and cleaning supplies responsibly
• Report maintenance issues to the appropriate personnel
• Secure the facility by locking/unlocking as required
• Perform additional duties as assigned

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous custodial experience preferred
• Ability to follow safety procedures and handle hazardous materials safely
• Maintain a friendly, efficient, and positive demeanor with guests, clients, and co-workers
• Adaptability to guests' needs
• Willingness to work long hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays
• Ability to work indoors and outdoors in various weather conditions
