Peckham is hiring a Custodial Services Trainee in Grand Rapids, MI. The role involves cleaning restrooms, offices, classrooms, and public areas, with on-site supervision and required in-person training before placement.

You’ll work a 6:00am–2:30pm shift Tuesday through Saturday, and participate in orientation and safety trainings. Ideal candidates are reliable, able to follow safety procedures, and willing to learn in a fast-changing facility environment.

Qualifications

• 18 years of age or older.
• Ability to read and/or interpret written or pictorial documents such as safety rules and procedures.
• Ability to communicate verbally, gesturally, or through written means.
• Must pass and maintain background checks.
• Meet physical requirements of the position and be able to commit to a regular schedule.

Responsabilités

• Stock and organize storage closets and custodial carts.
• Routine cleaning of restrooms, conference rooms, breakrooms, classrooms and offices.
• Operate and maintain cleaning equipment safely.
• Report deficiencies and maintain equipment in good condition.
• Support a team-based approach and promote Peckham's values.
