Two years of relevant experience, a high school diploma or equivalent, and a valid driver's license are required.

The Custodial Services Supervisors are responsible for providing clean and healthy environments for the University Academic and Health System facilities by supervising up to approximately 10 - 15 employees in performing safe and critical custodial management tasks. The Supervisor maintains department expectations of providing high quality and consistent service by supervising, scheduling, and training the work force. The Supervisor maintains positive and professional relationships with facility occupants, staff, colleagues, students, visitors, and department leadership.
This is for one position with two different shift opportunities. The shifts to choose from are 4:00am-12:30pm or 6:00am - 2:30pm. The anticipated hiring range is $25.00-$28.00, commensurate with experience.

Facilities Management (FM) supports the University of Virginia's wide range of research, academic and patient care programs. With over 1,200 employees dedicated to excellence, Facilities Management is responsible for the day-to-day operation, repair, and maintenance of UVA's buildings, infrastructure, and grounds as well as other University-owned and leased properties.
This role requires regular standing and walking through various indoor and outdoor work areas. Occasional bending, squatting, kneeling, and lifting may be required, including periodic use of cleaning equipment.
