Job summary

Harvard Maintenance, Inc. is seeking a Porter to maintain daily cleanliness and curb appeal across public and operational spaces.

You will respond to requests, assist with special events, and help ensure a welcoming environment for tenants, employees, and visitors, while following safety protocols. Ideal candidates have at least 1 year of Porter experience, strong communication skills, and the stamina to work outdoors in varying weather.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of Porter experience
• Strong communication skills required
• Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather
• Physical ability to stand, walk, sit, stoop or kneel as needed

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness of lobbies, hallways, elevators, restrooms, and other common areas
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, and dust to keep areas tidy
• Empty trash and replace liners
• Restock restroom supplies
• Wipe down doors, windows and high-touch surfaces
• Respond to spills, tenant requests and safety concerns
• Assist with moving furniture and setting up spaces for events
• Report maintenance or safety issues to management
