Job summary

cleanteamclean is seeking a proactive Area Supervisor to ensure the successful operation of custodial services across facilities on the assigned schedule. You will train, coach, and directly supervise staff, plan custodial operations, and maintain high standards of cleanliness and safety.

You will inspect facilities, identify performance gaps, implement improvements to reduce costs, allocate work during shortages or events, and report serious issues to senior management.

Responsibilities

• Train, coach, guide and directly supervise assigned personnel.
• Plan and organize all custodial operations.
• Perform continuous inspections of facility areas taking appropriate actions as needed to resolve sub-standard or non- conforming performances.
• Continually evaluate methods, procedures, processes and materials to improve performance and reduce operating cost.
• Establish and maintain effective employee relations.
• Allocate work as needed due to shortages or special requirements or events.
• Take immediate action on routine complaints; report those of a serious nature to the Director of Operations, Operations Administrator or Senior Management.
• Review and verify time keeping reports by payroll deadlines.
