Harvard University Central Administration is seeking a Custodial Supervisor to lead custodial operations on campus in Cambridge, MA. The role focuses on managing daily cleaning activities, training staff, and ensuring adherence to safety and environmental standards.

The successful candidate will supervise hourly custodial employees, coordinate with campus stakeholders, and uphold quality service while maintaining records and supporting budget and scheduling needs.

Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma or equivalent and strong supervisory experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication and time management.
• Knowledge of cleaning operations or facilities management is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily custodial services operations in assigned area.
• Train custodians in cleaning procedures and safety.
• Coordinate schedules, quality inspections, and audits.
• Ensure compliance with environmental health and safety regulations.
• Maintain records of attendance, payroll, and equipment.
• Lead special projects and partner with Campus Services management.
