Job summary

A leading facilities management service provider is seeking a Custodian Lead in Durham, NC. The role requires overseeing the cleanliness and sanitation of assigned areas while providing direction to custodial staff. Responsibilities include performing janitorial duties, assisting supervisors, managing equipment and supplies, and ensuring safety protocols are followed. Candidates must possess a high school diploma and at least a year of relevant experience. Offering $17.00-$18.00 per hour, Monday-Friday shifts from 2:00pm to 10:30pm.

Qualifications

• 1-year related experience preferred.
• CPR/AED/First Aid certification may be required.
• Valid driver’s license may be necessary.

Responsibilities

• Ensure cleanliness and sanitation of assigned areas.
• Direct custodial staff as needed and assist in scheduling.
• Operate motorized cleaning equipment responsibly.

Skills

Ability to read and interpret instructions

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Knowledge of cleaning methods and equipment

Understanding of cleaning compounds and their safe use

Education
