Job summary

Pacific West Site Services, Inc. in Dayton, Ohio is seeking a Custodian Lead to maintain cleanliness and sanitation of assigned areas and to provide some direction to custodial staff.

The role includes performing janitorial duties, scheduling, training, and equipment operation. The position requires a high school diploma or GED and at least 1 year of related experience, CPR/First Aid certification, and a valid driver’s license if required.

Qualifications

• Education and/ or Experience: High school diploma / GED required.
• At least 1-year related experience.
• CPR/AED/First Aid certification required.
• A valid driver's license may be required for the position.

Responsibilities

• Perform janitorial duties.
• Perform all duties listed on the daily schedule.
• Provide work direction and assistance to custodians as directed by Custodial Supervisor.
• Assist Custodial Supervisor in scheduling and training staff as needed.
• Operate motorized cleaning equipment.
• Track equipment inventory, maintenance, and repair.
• Schedule clean up and repairs as needed.
• Maintain daily upkeep of assigned area.
• Track and maintain supply inventory.
• Assist Custodial Supervisor in purchasing cleaning supplies and equipment.
• Perform quality, service, and safety inspections.
• Report incidents and hazards to supervisor.
• Monitor employees for PPE use and safety.
• Drive to various work locations if needed.
• Provide recommendations for corrective action.
